Cambridge International A Levels for UK University Admission

Cambridge International AS and A Levels are accepted by UK universities for undergraduate admission, but acceptance of the qualification does not mean every course has the same grade requirement.

Important: The standard UCAS deadline for Oxford, Cambridge and most medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses was 15 October 2026. The equal-consideration deadline for most other 2027 undergraduate courses is 13 January 2027.

What this opportunity offers

Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and other institutions evaluate subject combinations, predicted or achieved grades, English proficiency and, for some courses, admission tests or interviews.

Eligibility and important requirements

Eligibility must be checked against the organiser or university’s own rules. Academic requirements, nationality restrictions, language standards and documentation can differ by course or funding category. Do not rely on a general headline to decide whether you qualify.

Where a date belongs to university admission rather than a scholarship, treat those as different processes. An admission offer is not itself confirmation of a scholarship award.

How to apply

Search the course entry requirements on the university website, compare your subjects and grades, check the relevant UCAS deadline, prepare references and a personal statement, and submit through UCAS.

Open the official university or programme website and select the relevant intake.
Read the eligibility, documents, language and funding terms in full.
Check the deadline and time zone before submitting.
Keep a copy of your application and watch for messages from the organiser.

Important checks before you apply

This is an admissions guide, not a scholarship offer. The early October 2026 deadline has already passed for relevant courses.

Verify funding, eligibility and deadlines directly with the organiser. Never pay an unofficial agent to secure an award or assume a scholarship is guaranteed.
