East Tennessee State Small Mammal Ecology Master’s Assistantship 2027

A research assistantship associated with a small mammal ecology project at East Tennessee State University offers graduate study tied to a specific supervisor and research position.

Important: Scholarship Region gives 1 November 2026 as the deadline, while the faculty-authored Natural Resources Job Board posting gives 31 December 2026. Applicants should resolve this discrepancy with the supervisor before applying.

What this opportunity offers

The advertised package includes a two-year tuition waiver, an annual stipend of $12,200 and additional summer 2027 salary.

Eligibility and important requirements

Eligibility must be checked against the organiser or university’s own rules. Academic requirements, nationality restrictions, language standards and documentation can differ by course or funding category. Do not rely on a general headline to decide whether you qualify.

Application deadline and current status

Where a date belongs to university admission rather than a scholarship, treat those as different processes. An admission offer is not itself confirmation of a scholarship award.

How to apply

Read the original research position description, check qualifications in ecology and field research, prepare a CV and academic records, and contact the named supervising professor using the job posting instructions.

1. Open the official university or programme website and select the relevant intake.
2. Read the eligibility, documents, language and funding terms in full.
3. Check the deadline and time zone before submitting.
4. Keep a copy of your application and watch for messages from the organiser.

Important checks before you apply

This is one laboratory assistantship, not a university-wide master's scholarship. The conflicting deadlines have not been reconciled.

Verify funding, eligibility and deadlines directly with the organiser. Never pay an unofficial agent to secure an award or assume a scholarship is guaranteed.
