The Anthony Udokwu’s Foundation-Yahweh 2027/2028 University Scholarship supports university students who face serious hardship. The foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales, and its scholars are mostly at Nigerian universities. You can apply if you live with a disability, have lost your parents, or face critical circumstances that put your education at risk. Applying is free.
Status: Open. The closing date is 28 February 2027 (checked October 30, 2026). The official page does not set a formal nationality rule, but the form asks for fees in naira and most past scholars study at Nigerian universities. If you are in Ghana, Kenya or India, contact the foundation before you spend time on the form.
What it covers
The official page does not state the award amount or what it pays for. Past scholars listed on the foundation’s site received full, partial or tuition fee scholarships, so the support differs from student to student. Being eligible does not guarantee an award.
Who can apply
You must be a university student and meet at least one of these three routes:
- Disability: you are a student living with a disability.
- Orphanhood: mainly students who have lost both parents. Some students who lost one parent also qualify, if the surviving parent has permanently abandoned them or gives no real support.
- Critical circumstances: for example abuse, exploitation, serious neglect or abandonment that affects your education or safety.
Being a university student alone is not enough. You need to fit one of these routes.

- Apply early. Do not wait for the last week of February.
- Never pay anyone to apply for you. The official application is free.
